Video Chat - Real-time video with voice communications over the Internet. Like a videophone it allows talking, listening, seeing, and being seen. But it uses software, a video camera, a video card, a sound card, a microphone, and speakers instead. See: Televideo Conferencing.

virus - A program which replicates itself on computer systems by incorporating itself into other programs which are shared among computer systems. See also: Trojan Horse, worm.

VRML Viewer (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) - A plug-in. A program creating 3-D spaces to actually walk through and 3-D images to pick up. For example, there are virtual stores online where you can walk the aisles and examine the merchandise.
